Conservation Specialist(s)
Steward Link is looking for Conservation Specialists to assist in the creation, maintenance, and processing of conservation plans. Typical work includes maps, forms, and developing plans that help clients reach their stewardship goals, working closely with both the client and NRCS representatives to put every client in the best position to benefit from conservation programs.
What you'll do
- Communicate with clients in a positive, personal way
- Give clients a seamless onboarding experience
- Create and evaluate applications with the client's goals in focus
- Work with landowners to find the right practices for their operation
- Develop conservation plans built on each individual operation
- Keep data neat and organized across many plans
- Get well versed in NRCS, USDA, FSA, and other funding programs
- Help clients stay compliant with their funding
- Travel to meet potential clients and referral partners
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Stays positive under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with project management and CRM tools
- Agronomy, forestry, wildlife biology, or other land management expertise preferred but not required
- A positive attitude, always
